Environmental Policy

Home | Environmental Policy

We understand that as part of a growing industry we can have a significant impact on the world that we live in.

We have made a commitment to consistently improve our processes to ensure that we can reduce the impact that we have on our environment and leave a planet that will support & house generations to come. With Robinsons being a family business that has grown from the ground up, we understand just how important it is to build a sustainable future for our younger family members.

We have placed a great deal of emphasis on creating procedures and policies which ensure our sites are worked on in a manner sympathetic to the environment around us. As well as being committed to recycling our Cardboard/Paper, Cans and Plastics, Robinsons also participated in the Crichton Carbon Centre’s Sustainable Process Improvement Programme which sought to minimise the impact we have on the environment and maximise our sustainability. Following our participation, we were awarded the silver award for sustainable process improvement.

Many of the accreditations we hold required us to demonstrate that we are actively improving our environmental procedures, and on top of those we already hold, we are currently in the process of gaining ISO 14001 which is the international standard that specifies requirements for an effective environmental management system (EMS).

A copy of our full environmental policy is available from our team upon request, please contact us today for more details.
